The long-awaited Mwizukanji Part 2 has officially hit the screens, marking another major step forward for Zambia’s fast-rising film industry. Directed and produced by Cosmas Ng’andwe, the sequel builds on the emotional and cultural power of the first Mwizukanji movie, which captured hearts across the nation in 2024.

According to early reports, Part 2 delivers everything fans were hoping for — deeper storytelling, stronger performances, and stunning visuals that highlight Zambia’s cinematic potential. Ng’andwe has promised “a bigger, bolder continuation of the story,” exploring the aftermath of heartbreak, forgiveness, and the resilience of love in a Zambian setting.

The movie features an impressive cast, including Diana Banda, Remmy Kangwa, Judith Nyendwa Moro, and several new faces who bring fresh energy to the screen. Shot in Zambia with local talent both in front of and behind the camera, Mwizukanji Part 2 is a reminder of just how far the country’s creative scene has come.

The film is currently available on Inwit TV and select cinema screenings in Lusaka and Copperbelt, with online access for K20 only. Fans have already begun flooding social media with praise, calling the sequel “emotional,” “authentic,” and “a proud Zambian masterpiece.”

Director Cosmas Ng’andwe has also teased future projects, hinting that the Mwizukanji universe might continue if the response remains strong.
